About Us
Our Mission
We empower children and families to reach their highest
potential by initiating and supporting community based programs that
promote the health, welfare and moral of all children and youth. We
do this by conducting extensive research in the heart of America’s
communities and finding a need and taking active steps to do our piece to help out.
Our Vision
We at The Missing Piece Foundation will be satisfied only
when every child in the global community has the opportunity to achieve
his/her fullest potential as an individual and to participate and
contribute fully in all aspects of a productive life.

“Once every generation, history brings us to a critical turning point. Occasionally in life, there is that instant when it’s achievable to make a change for the better- to positively affect those around you. This is one of those moments.” – T.C. Powell
Our Logo
In 2000, Ty Powell conceptually drew how he envisioned
the best relations/exchanges among people: unified, harmonious, selfless
and altruistic. The missing person/(puzzle piece) in the middle
represents the perfect piece that we all can give to children in need
no matter what our circumstance. His inspiration serves as the Foundation's
logo, representing hope for children everywhere.
